Bright Orange Foundation Shines at Ministry of Defence Painting Competition

Celebrating Young Talent on the 12th Jayanti of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee

On 6th July, students from Bright Orange Foundation participated in a prestigious painting competition organized by the Ministry of Defence to commemorate the 12th Jayanti of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. The theme for the event was “New India”, inviting young minds to visualize and express their dreams for a better, brighter India.

We are thrilled to share that three of our students—Lakshya, Laxmi, and Farzina—secured the top three positions, showcasing incredible creativity, depth of thought, and patriotic spirit!

Theme Interpretation: A technologically advanced and sustainable India
Artwork Description: Lakshya’s painting presented India in 2047—a digital, green, and inclusive nation. His work featured solar-powered villages, smart classrooms, bullet trains, and digitally connected rural areas

Laxmi accepting 2nd Prize for her art celebrating harmony between culture and progress

Theme Interpretation: Blending tradition with innovation
Artwork Description: Laxmi captured India’s rich cultural roots growing alongside modern innovation. Her painting showed scenes of traditional dance, farmers using drones, and women leading STEM fields.

Farzina awarded 3rd Prize for her inspiring message of unity and equity
